If you are a first-generation and/or income-eligible student, what has your experience been like at UCSB?
I'm a first gen student and it's been a rewarding experience teaching myself a multitude of things I never learned about previously.
What would you like to share with students about your experience at UCSB?
It’s not as intimidating as you think it would be and it’s easy to meet new people as long as try you put yourself out there!
Top tips for fellow students? (Study tips, self care hacks, fav resources on campus, etc)
Creating an organized calendar with your schedule. Also I love grabbing food from the arbor and studying at the library with friends. The student resource building is also a great place to study if you want a change of scenery from the library. Lastly, the college and career center is great for resumé tips.

Why did you choose to be an EOP peer mentor/office assistant?
I love helping other students navigate their way through UCSB because I remember feeling confused and lost at some points at the beginning of my experience.
